Forever wishing for 5 More Minutes
To the sport I’ve done since I was little I’m grateful for all star cheer to have been such a huge chapter of my life. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve gained throughout this journey and I’m excited for what’s to come!
Everything from late night, early morning and extra practices, all the miles put on back and fourth from home to the gym or competitions, to the traditions and the superstitions, early comp mornings to late performance times, long awards sessions and even longer pictures taken after, to the handshakes and hugs from everyone, the chants before and all the cheers after preforming, from fighting with my mom about makeup and hair to having her take it out for the last time🥺.Here i am at the end of this 11 year journey! I’ve never thought I’d be here knowing I’ll never be on that 9 panel mat stage again, never feel the pressure of warmups or the big hugs after a hit zero performance. If I could go back and do it all over again I’d do it in a heartbeat! Although cheer has been one of the biggest chapters of my life so far, all the best things have the hardest goodbyes. And I couldn’t ask for a better team, gym, coaches and people to end with!
.
Thank you to URA, my coaches and my teammates for making my last 3 years the best experience! I am so grateful for the friendships I’ve made with everyone I couldn’t have asked for a better last 3 years! All the hard practices, tough competitions, and blood sweat and tears put into each season have shaped me to who I am. I will be forever grateful for the coaches who raised me and the coaches who bettered me in the end! 🩵💛🩷
.
To my parents, my biggest supporters through it all. I love you so much and I’m so grateful for all you do for me, you push me to want to be better not only for myself but for you! All the crazy comp outfits and long days, I appreciate everything you’ve done for me I couldn’t ask for better parents! I love you forever!❤️ taken in Orange County Convention Center by @alexawild_13
