Honestly I’m still in shock!

MAKING THE TURN

More than just a round of golf. A conversation that matters.

An honest, down to earth mental health awareness project, bringing people together for candid conversations about life, mental health and everything in between, all while walking the fairways.

Because sometimes, the best conversations happen out on the golf course.

Coming soon. ⛳

🧠 Midweek check in 💚

How’s everyone’s week been so far? Drop a gif in the comments!

If I’m being honest, last week was a bit of week for me. And with the clocks changing, the days getting shorter and the rubbish weather we’ve had recently I’ve definitely felt a shift in my mood.

But I’ve had a great session on the range this evening and it’s my daughter’s birthday tomorrow so right now I’m feeling pretty good 😊

Keep your head still and your hopes high 💚

Happy Friday 🙌🏻

@robbflynn and the guys from @machine_head have release a killer new single! It’s been on a seriously heavy rotation the last few days🤘🏻

And with this horrible weather right now is anyone else missing those burnt out summer fairways? 😅

Hope you have a great weekend of mosh pits & mulligans ⛳️

Thank you!!!! 2000 followers, let’s go!🤘🏻😆🤘🏻

Hitting this number has been a big milestone for me and something I’ve been working hard to hit. I’m so grateful for every single one of you for following along with my golf journey.

The support I’ve found in the golf creator community and the friendships I’ve made has seriously blown me away. I really hope I get the opportunity to meet a lot more of you lovely people on and off the golf course in the coming months.

I’ve got some exciting things planned, especially around mental health awareness, plus a lot more golf content to come.

Keep your head still and your hopes high 🤘🏻

Last night my wife said to me that if my little golf Instagram account gets 2000 followers and a comment from @avodagolf she will buy me a new set of W2 wedges for my birthday 😲

Please help a golf Dad out by giving me a follow or liking, commenting and reposting this reel. I really need some new wedges 🙏🏻

Hole 6 - 169 yard par 3

My 7 iron tee shot ended up missing the green left but still managed to get up and down for a par. Although that putt almost did a full 360 😅

Keep your head still and your hopes high 🤘🏻

Well this is a bit exciting!

I’m super happy to announce I’m officially an ambassador for the awesome @pocketcaddiemain golf app.

PocketCaddie has been an integral part of my practice sessions on the range. The insights and feedback on my swing the app has provided has been invaluable.

More details coming soon 👀

World Mental Health Day 💚⛳️

For me, golf is about so much more than hitting a little white ball. It’s a chance to switch off from the noise, clear my head and just be present in the moment.

Sometimes, you just need a bucket of balls, a driving range and a bit of time to yourself.

There’s something quite therapeutic about standing on the range, putting your phone away, focusing on one shot at a time and not worrying about anything else going on in the world. No pressure, no expectations, just you and a golf club. (Even if the golf itself is absolutely shocking! 😂)

We spend so much time worrying about what’s next, what we should be doing and what other people think, that sometimes we forget how important it is to take a step back and give ourselves a bit of breathing space.

If spending an hour on your own at the driving range helps you feel a little better, then that hour is time well spent.

You don’t have to be good at something for it to be good for you.

And remember, it’s okay not to be okay. Whether it’s golf, a walk, the gym or simply sitting quietly with a coffee, find something that gives you a bit of peace.

Check in on your mates, ask how they’re really doing, and don’t be afraid to talk about how you feel.
