Repost @austcine ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• @alexcardy here! Today I wanted to share a short called 'We're Not Here' directed by @bonniemoir and produced by/starring @brigby and co-starring @pekkastrang . - I love Bonnie & Ben dearly, but they made me carry camera & lighting gear up a mountain at dusk and dawn for a week... good thing it was very much worth it. Shout out to @darenvinsoncrawford who was my underwater unit cinematographer, a long-time legend in the surfing cinematography scene but this was his first drama. He dived down to where the seals were swimming to get those shots. - Here are some shots from the film and some BTS of me and Bonnie looking serious. by @alexcardy

The Airport Chaplain is available to stream on SBS on Demand or Netflix internationally now. At the heart of this series is a character who prioritises the human experience above all else in a space that is inherently driven by logistics or profit. We wanted the visuals to reflect this, for the world of this show to feel alive, at times dizzying, frenetic, intimate I guess all the things that feel human. Was an honour to work with this incredible cast, and the most beautiful crew. Huge thanks to the team at the heart of this series for having me on and all of their work, inspiration and collaboration. @alexandracameron_ @judetroyirish @elisewednesday @itsnakul by @alexcardy

I recently filmed the moving-image installation for Maria Madeira’s ‘Kiss & Don’t Tell’ exhibited at this years Venice Bienalle. It was a honour to work with Maria, Rob and the team on this moving project. “Maria Madeira, the first artist to represent Timor-Leste at the Venice Biennale, draws on a heritage of abundance to investigate the darkest histories.” — Neha Kale, Saturday Paper.
