I am honoured to announce ill be speaking at the Global Fashion Summit in May - the leading forum for sustainability in fashion, convening decision-makers from across the value chain to accelerate collective action. This year’s the theme will be about Building Resilient Futures, recognising that the fashion industry is facing extraordinary challenges. It invites us to reflect on how we respond, where we fall on the spectrum between resistance and adaptation, and how resilience can drive meaningful transformation #globalfashionsummit by @alexcarl

Behind the book. Collecting Fashion: Nostalgia, Passion, Obsession.

Taking System through her new book, ‘Collecting Fashion,’ Alex Carl delves into the archives of @lalamichmich’s expansive Comme collection, @zahahadiddesign’s shoe collection, @sarahandelman’s covetable sneaker and t-shirt collection. Painstakingly gathering and photographing the preeminent collections of these archival obsessives, Alex traces the intricate relationships between the clothes and the personalities of their collectors.

Looking back at it all - PFW what you don’t see immediately or have to look twice to discover is always my favourite ! The back of @matthieu_blazy exquisite craft in the jackets - not immediately visible when you fist see a look walking down the runway but ultimately what moves you and makes you fall in love with the clothes are the details a designer thinks about that you may never have seen unless you look twice. Same goes for #michaelriders @celine - the ultimate luxury is what isn’t always visible to others. Including what goes on behind the scenes of it all - friendships and communities that keeps us all moving ! by @alexcarl
