Little Sugar MTB

Overall pretty happy with my effort on Sunday. Little sugar is one of the hardest but most rewarding races out there. I had a clean race and almost everything went perfectly which is all I could of asked for. I had so much fun for the first half and was still able to keep pushing hard in the second half. With everything I’ve been dealing with health wise, this didn’t feel the best, but I felt strong and pretty good with my tech skills. I left it all out there so I’m proud of myself. Next up, Big Sugar!

P2P ⛰️
I was a little nervous going into @parkcitypoint2point (especially for the first time) because of my performance at Leadville and some other races this year but I decided to give it a try because I needed a good long training day. Plus, the thought of strait pc single track all day got me excited. The day of the race I woke up feeling kind of sick but I decided to race anyway and see if I could still win something. From the warm up, I knew it was gonna be a long day (especially on my hard tail). I lined up with some really strong girls including local legend @chels.bolton who was one of many who inspired me to get into marathon racing. Also @kaya.papaya06 who is so strong and fast and I am so proud of her.

Even with how I was feeling, I felt strong enough to race and try to compete for podium. I didn’t feel as confident with my bike handling skills as I usually do but I worked with what I had and tried to catch back up on the climbs. At around 5 hours I started to physically break down and by hour 7 I started to have a mental breakdown. I was still in the money but I got passed twice and came away with fifth. I was a little caught off guard at the finish and slid out. I hit my head pretty hard which resulted in a minor concussion, black eye, and bad bruising all along my right side. It could have been a lot worse if it weren’t for my @smithoptics helmet and glasses.

I’m proud of the effort I put in and happy with the training and the progress I made. I am so grateful for all the support and the people who helped me out on course all day.

SBT GRAVEL

Another journal entry….
I had such a great time racing @sbtgrvl today. It was really hard but I was able to find comfort in the pain, which is something Ive been struggling with a lot. I’ve been improving a little bit physically and mentally with each race which has really helped me remember why I love this sport so much. I also had so much fun working with an awesome group of girls (shoutout @whit.allison for all of those hero pulls), racing on perfect gravel roads with beautiful scenery, and really just pushing myself harder than I have before. I can’t wait to keep getting stronger and set new goals.

Friday nights hill climb was awesome. I almost had a heart attack sprinting for 5 minutes, but it was fun to dress up and just race for the fun of it.

I loved getting to show up with the @envemogsquad and hang out with the squad all weekend. Thanks @sprague135 and @mpshriver for getting us here, and my parents for supporting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Happy national sunglasses day!! 😎

I love my @smithoptics glasses so much. A lot of thought and hard work go into designing these glasses. Their products are all made and improved on through the feedback of athletes who train with and use them everyday.
I tend to use the Smith Vert glasses for most things. They are ultra light weight and personally, I wouldn’t choose another pair of glasses for gravel and MTB. Nothing can prepare you for the conditions that come with this kind of racing, which is why I’m so grateful that the @envemogsquad gets to use them. I’m talking about early morning race starts with bright sun and dust, rocks and mud flying, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Plus, the black frame with the ChromaPop Red Mirror lenses look sooo cool and definitely make me stand out. by @alexcharles_6

GRODEO 2026

@envecomposites never misses with this event. It was by far the best and most fun day on the bike this season. Amazing people, trails, and bikes (let’s not forget the hotdogs that were perfectly cooked). Im so lucky to have these trails right in my backyard. I especially loved getting to meet so many amazing people who were all brought together through cycling. The ride was long and tough, but I felt strong and it was just what I needed. I’m so grateful for every day I feel good. I was stoked to rep the @envemogsquad along with my awesome teammates and crew. Everyone at ENVE worked hard to put such a fun event on, so if you haven’t done it yet, you might want to consider adding it to the calendar next year 👀

I’ll be in Steamboat Springs CO next week for @sbtgrvl !!! Hoping to keep this momentum going!
