Dear Bubba, I not only lost my grandfather but my best friend aka “My Main Man”. This man meant the world to me and helped create the man I have become today. Bubba there was no other family member in our family that I was close to other than you. Our jokes, sayings, vacations, time spent together will always be memories I will cherish forever. If you knew my grandfather you knew that there was not one ounce of bad energy or hate in his entire body, with him it was all love, jokes, and happiness. The way he would just randomly go up to a complete stranger and have a full on conversation with them and then walk away and have them smiling would be so admiring to watch. I always looked up to you when I was younger and would say “this is the man I want to be like when I’m older.” Anything that I ever wanted or wanted to do you would do with me or go out and get me whatever even if you didn’t want to, you still would because all you wanted was to see me happy and I will forever be grateful for that.
