“No Angeles”…another LA story.
A visual chronicle of my everyday moments as I move around this concrete jungle of a city called Los Angeles.

There is beauty in decay.
There are inspiring sounds hidden behind every visual vignette.
Free interpretation of a world that unfolds in different ways for each one of us.
What’s ugly for you is beautiful for me and vice versa.
Enjoy the ride.

San Sebastian Carnival in San Juan, Puerto Rico (Part One)

When music takes over and time stands still, people walk around, holding percussion instruments, breaking the barrier between the musicians and the audience. A wave of sound and dance floods the streets, filling them with joy. Old and young, hand in hand, they celebrate this wondrous thing called life.

Painting with Light.
@chazguest , my talented brother from another mother.
An experiment with long exposures.
Random movements that turn into intricate patterns.
If you are not familiar with his work you should really check him out!
Love to all… @slagrxgallery @rxslaggallery

Vedado, La Habana, Cuba October 2023.
We were taking a stroll down to the Malecon to go sit by the pristine, magical waters of the Caribbean Ocean and as we turned the corner this girl was just sitting there…in a meditative state…peaceful and serene.
A sliver of shade protected her from the scorching tropical sun…a light salty breeze present in the air…
Live the moment…

Driving through life.
Havana Cuba.
On a side street of Galliano not too far from the Malecon everything happens.
You can smell the salt water of the Caribbean Ocean mixed with the smells of people cooking all mixed with music blasting from everywhere and the sound of kids roaming the streets.
Life and colors….

The poetry that is Chaz Guest.
The friend, the brother, the artist with the endless enthusiasm of a kid that watches the sun come up for the first time.
Many places we travelled together.
Many adventures that nourished our artistic journey.
We grow wise and stay young.
Your ever changing paintings and drawings tell a story the world has to hear.
The soundtrack of our lives continues as the world keeps spinning.
Thank you! Song and video produced filmed and edited by Alex Elena. All instruments by Alex Elena. Keyboards and Strings by Sebastian Marino.#art #painter #soul #moma #rxslaggalleryparis #steviewonder taken in Los Angeles, California by @alexelena007
