Behind the scenes of my @carreracupbenelux weekend in Spa!🙏 - I came to Spa knowing that the entire field (except myself) took advantage of a full day of testing two weeks prior the event. So, all we got to figure out the setup and for me to get into the rhythm of the circuit was 2x 40 min. in FP 1+2.🫣 - I got promoted from ProAm to PRO overnight due to my lap times in FP 🤷‍♂️ Quali: - My fastest lap (2:19,2) was deleted due to track limits on Blanchimont entry (!) by a fraction of an inch (which still haunts me🥶), yet my 2nd + 3rd fastest laps resulted in Pole Position for R1 and P3 in R2. I was over the moon for my first ever Pole in Carrera Cup!🥳 Race 1: - I was utterly nervous about the standing start as I had zero chances to practice beforehand. And surprise - I fu*ked it up 🙈 Luckily the race was aborted after a start incident, so I got another chance at the restart, learned my lesson and defended P1! - In lap 3 I lost engine power.. My 1,5 sec. gap got neutralized within a couple of corners and I already saw my first race win shift away.. - Surprisingly the issue vanished after two laps, I was able to build a gap again and secured my first ever Porsche Carrera Cup win which felt beyond words, esp. in front of a +100.000 @fiawec_official crowd!🥹 Race 2: - I had a good start and was able to gain one place after a side by side drag race into Eau Rouge! - Jaap Van Lagen (PCCB Champion 2025) put me under pressure for the entire race and even bumpdrafted me at +250kph 😁 - My viral infection gave me a really hard time. I was not able to extract my performance, couldn’t even apply the required brake pressure as there was simply no strength left..😐 - Yet after many serious maneuvers by Jaap I was able to defend P2 across the line which felt like a win at that point!🙌 The past weekend was one I won’t forget anytime soon.. One of the best days in my life where everything paid off 🙏 I’m so grateful for the people & partners surrounding & trusting in me and esp. team @aworkx for not only providing a rocket fast car, but also the warmth and mental support which really makes the difference in tense situations 🫶 Let’s build on that!🚀 #katana taken in Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps by @alexhardt7

6:39.0 BTG! 🚀    My first @manthey_racing trackday attendance exceeded all expectations! Least traffic, great people & cars and perfect weather!   These conditions led to many enjoyable laps and finally to my new personal best!🙌    I‘m still amazed what this car is capable of! Victorious NLS Double-Header weekend! 🏆 Saturday’s race went picture-perfect for us. In my opening stint I could gain the lead and due to a flawless job by our team @benjahites @ben_koslowski we were able to extend it until the checkered flag! What a feeling to be back on the top step of the podium! 🥳 On Sunday we encountered the notorious Green Hell weather conditions. From a bone-dry start over partly wet to monsoon rain - we had it all, but we survived without any incidents and finished on P2. I have to say that I felt extremely comfortable in the car this weekend. It was truly fantastic to drive and I could really focus & improve on my personal bits and pieces, so huge thanks to @teamblackfalcon for their outstanding work! 🙏 We are now approaching the last and decisive NLS 10 finale as championship leaders with a tiny 1,5 points margin – let’s make it count! 🚀 Thanks to all partners & supporters on site and from home, it means a lot! 🫶 #katana #blackfalcon #porsche #gt3cup #nls taken in Nürburgring Nordschleife by @alexhardt7

My 6:39 BTG lap is now 3 years in the past (and still unbeaten 👀).. Ever since my GT3RS did not set foot on a racetrack again, as this particular lap has paved my way to the real racing world.🙏 With this childhood dream coming true (and for a few other reasons), I built a special bond to this car.. I take it out for evening drives and special occasions, just stare at it at nice locations, clean it after every single trip, bring it in for yearly maintenance and enjoy myself on the absolutely mint condition it‘s in. We met as teenagers, grew up together and in the past 11 years we built the life we’ve always dreamed of. Beside your obvious gorgeousness, you are the most caring, loyal and loving person I ever met. Without your relentless support I wouldn’t be who and where I am today. Words can‘t describe how much I adore you - but slide 8 can.. I couldn’t be more proud & thankful to finally call you my wife and cherish your company for the rest of my life!🫶 Our wedding has been beyond expectations and made it the most emotional and memorable day of my life. Frustrating NLS 6 weekend for us 🫠 It already started off with a so-so Quali where we couldn’t exploit our full pace due to traffic and Code60s, which was a shame given the fact that our @teamblackfalcon GT3 Cup was super quick to drive!🚀 Starting the race from P2 we suffered overheating issues already by end of the formation lap, which took us out of any contention for victory..🤷‍♂️ Yet we continued the race and finished on P8 to collect at least some points for the championship. Let’s hope for better luck next time!
