This is 30! If I had to sum up my 20s in a single word, it would be “self-discovery.”That decade was a masterclass in growth. I spent those years figuring out who I was and sometimes, who I wasn’t. I learned to feel at peace in uncertainty, to hold space for both ambition and grace. I pushed my limits, but I also learned when to give myself permission to rest, to stumble, to simply be.I discovered what it truly means to love, not just romantically or towards others, but to love myself, wholly and unconditionally. With and without the flaws, the insecurities, the scars.My 20s showed me the beauty of connection. They gave me some of my fondest memories with the people I love. They taught me never to take anyone for granted and never to settle, in life or love.Through it all, different versions of Alexia emerged: the bold one, the shy one. The one who compromised too much, and the one who FINALLY learned boundaries. The Alexia who hurt and was hurt. The one who thrived. The one who stood firm. The one who stayed soft.Most importantly, my 20s deepened my faith. My relationship with God grew in ways I never imagined, grounding me through every twist and turn.Wow, did I live my 20s! And I loved them for everything they were.Now, I step into my 30s with clarity. This new chapter feels like the moment it all begins to make sense: the heartbreaks, the growing pains, the lessons. The “why” behind the tears.And maybe, just maybe, this is where the smiles come easier.Here’s to 30! The continuation. The culmination.
