The year of CHANGE

what an incredible year this was! full of extreme joy and devastating hardship.

I learnt to live in the moment & be more present. change just happens. but I'm also the architect of my own world.

I lost a couple of friendships & met many new incredible people on the way.

I got acknowledged as a musician on another level, I couldn't imagine would happen at this stage of my career. got to play gigs alsmost every week, had the priviledge to be invited to many music residencies, got to teach, got to travel a bunch & see a couple of my favourite artists play live.

I completed my bachelor studies after three years. I'm officially self-employed, got my own place, aaand I've finally got my own music studio.

I worked on myself & seeked for professional mental and physical help aswell.

the more I lived in the real life the less I had the need to share my own life with the internet. my thoughts were: who's even interested? why should my posts be relevant, while we have so much other important stuff going on in the world?

I didn't really like the idea of social media. it makes people force themselves to be someone they aren't, just because they're supposed to adapt to an algorythm that doesn't know what it means being a hard working artist.

several conversations and unexpected messages from random individuals, made me realize, that I do have an impact on other people. me as a person and therefore my music.

I will try and be more present & share what I think represents me as a musician, my thoughts, my knowledge, my music & art.

I'm grateful. for all the people who've been a part of this journey so far, for my amazing band and my management team, for the support and all the unexpected messages and conversations with strangers. and most of all I'm grateful for myself for being there when I needed myself the most. I lost myself for a while this year but I found myself again, even if that meant making certain sacrifices.

at least now I see, that I'm closer to complete peace than I've been in years.

here's to more change

I hope you stay on for the future.
