Learning this solo, cleaning it, and having it ready to perform in just two weeks for the NRG prodigy solo competition at nationals was definitely a new experience for me but i’m so grateful for the challenge. This will definitely go down as a fav and a memorable last solo!! by @alexisdances1

the most amazing week at NRG nationals✨

HUGE shoutout to all the faculty and staff who made the week run so smoothly and constantly were supporting me. thank you @mallauri and @rustinmatthew for putting on such an amazing event and selecting me to be a part of the senior top ten finalist for national prodigy!!!

to the all my @nrgprodigies and new national prodigy’s, you all deserve every title and award ever. not just because yall are incredible dancers but because you guys are also truly incredible souls. coming into the week I barely knew anyone, but i’m leaving the week with so many new friends that I will hold onto forever. thank you for making every rehearsal, class, and event so memorable and I will miss you all so much!!

more to come from this week but this moment deserves its own post…i’m beyond excited and grateful to have made the TOP TEN senior national prodigy here at @nrgdanceproject orlando!!! I don’t even have words to describe how I feel currently but i’m just so thankful for the NRG faculty and staff for choosing me to be apart of this group of talented dancers!! another huge thank you to @footnotesdance , my incredible teachers for getting me where I am, and my friends/family for the constant support and watching from home 🥹 this has been the most incredible experience and I never want this week to end!!⚡️ by @alexisdances1

here is my other senior solo “That’s Life” choreo by @dancin.w.hannahmo

little would I know at the beginning of the year when I chose this song that it would be the exact story of my senior season. I would be lying if I didn’t say there were many ups, downs, and times where I had to “pick myself up and get back in the race” and this song perfectly captures that. this was also my first musical theater solo in laducas and it was definitely challenging but i’m so grateful for @dancin.w.hannahmo for believing in me and giving me such a memorable senior solo. you have made musical theater one of my favorite styles to perform. i can’t believe at one point I was just learning “stuff like that there” and too scared to even use my face to perform. thanks for breaking me out of my shell and i’m so grateful for you! by @alexisdances1
