Today I graduate from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a certificate in Leadership and Mind & Brain! But this moment is so much bigger than a degree. It represents every late night, every self-doubt, every quiet moment where I had to choose between giving up or going forward. It took discipline, faith, and a lot of heart. I didn’t take the easiest road, but I stayed true to who I am and that made all the difference. I’ve grown in ways no syllabus could teach. I’ve learned how to lead with compassion, how to trust my own voice, and how to rise even when no one’s watching. This degree is a reflection of my journey, my culture, my family, and every challenge I turned into fuel to keep going. I’m proud of where I started, and even prouder of who I’ve become. This will forever be one of my greatest accomplishments. Onto the next adventure. 👩🏽‍🎓💕
