Staring Contest 6x8.5

What’s crazy is that I really want to start making less realistic art but it’s been difficult to rewire my brain to make art that’s more interpretive. I think that realism is still really cool and has its place in the art world. But when I think of my art as a reflection of myself, I don’t see realism in greyscale. I see vibrant colors and utter mayhem. So let this be inspiration to make things that are true to you <3 ⋆˙⟡˖ ࣪⭑

I found charcoal sticks that must have been a gift from a distant relative many christmases ago and what was meant to be just a practice sketch is now this. I have so much to say about this but for now I’ll allow my work to be seen 🦄 by @alexismakesstuff

Inspired by a true story where I bit into a peach and it was like biting into an apple. Anyway I love painting at @cafe.elliott and, more importantly, posting so that everyone knows it. I’m kidding (or am I?) by @alexismakesstuff
