The standout American guard Alexis Mead was named as the Kosovo League Player of the Year of the championship-winning team Bashkimi.She graduated from the Western Kentucky last year.Mead received multiple other awards, picked up the Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, earned a spot in the First Team and Imports Team.With her excellent performance, team Bashkimi achieved an impressive 15 - 3 record in the regular season.Her excellent performance assisted her team in beating Peja 03 4 - 3 in the final series.Mead was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 25-26 campaign.She orchestrated her way to the fifth spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling average of almost 20 and second position in averaging over 7 assists per game.Mead's 33 points against Peja 03 were the most she scored in the 25-26 season. by @alexismead3

American guard Alexis Mead @alexismead3 was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 33 points she had in the Kosovan Superliga.Mead graduated from Western Kentucky University @ladytopperhoops last year.Her team Bashkimi @kbfbashkimi beat the Peja 03 91 - 67.She also added 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals that evening.Mead is the 5th best scorer in the league averaging almost 20 points and 6 rebounds per game.Among many awards she was selected to the All C-USA First Team and All Tournament Team in 2025.She was also awarded Player of the Week in the Kosovan Superliga 2 times already this season. by @alexismead3
