You always told me to “make your absence felt,” and over these last six years, you definitely have done just that. I feel your absence every single day. Some mornings, it takes everything in me just to get started. Whenever your name comes up in conversation, I can’t help but get emotional because you gave absolutely everything you had for your 2 kids.

5 years of feeling like I’ve been stabbed in the back and the pain just keeps growing. Nothing feels right without you. Some mornings, getting out of bed feels like a real battle. Still trying to wrap my head around how’s it’s already been 5 years. Each morning, I stare at the mirror, searching for a sense of who I am without you. Life without you just doesn’t make sense and it never will. 💔
Finding happiness without you feels like the most challenging fucking thing I’ve ever had to do.

I wish you were here Mom. I love you, I miss you and I’m thankful for everything that you did for me to achieve my goals. 10 years ago, the world was coming to an end and you sacrificed so much to allow this moment to happen.
Thank you @samanthafaevanderpool for basically going from my high school guidance counselor to basically another parent. Thank you for letting me hide in your office during school. I skipped several classes throughout my high school career 😂. I remember you asked the 14 year old me, “What do you think is the best thing for you to do given the circumstances?” and I told you “I think dropping out of school and quitting the basketball team solves my problems” 🤣🤣. Thankfully you didn’t allow that to happen lol. Even after high school you’ve been there every step of the way. Double Knight just as you said would happen years ago 🫶
Thank you Ari, Brandon and Francine for all the help you’ve provided for me to accomplish this milestone. I’m blessed to be a part of your family. I hope Barry is watching upstairs with pride. To my Bonus Mom, you love making magic happen. At this point I don’t even bother asking how you conduct business lol because it’s mind-boggling how you pull off the wildest of things.
