Newish reel is up. ✂

Motion graphics is one piece of what I do - but it might be my favorite piece. Animated maps, title sequences, lower thirds, rebrands, explainers. If it moves and it means something, I'm in.

Link in bio.

We celebrated Dolphin Day last month! It’s a day to take some time to appreciate and respect the amazing creatures that inhabit our waters. From their signature whistles to the extraordinary intelligence they possess, there’s plenty to love about dolphins. Let’s come together to ensure their future by doing our part to protect our oceans!

Content Aware Fill has been in After Effects since 2019. I’m still finding new ways to use it. ✂️

Sometimes the best skill refresh isn’t learning something new — it’s going deeper on something you already know. Sixty seconds of what that looks like in practice.

The best tools don’t get old. You just get better at using them.

AI isn't replacing editors. It's making the invisible work faster. Here's what that looks like in practice. ✂️👇#AfterEffects #AIVideo #PostProduction"

Website feature run-through 🔁

Screen captures are fine - but animating the experience gives you timing, focus, and intent. With keyframes you control everything: what the viewer sees, when they see it, and how it feels to get there.

Animated walkthroughs > passive screen recordings.

A throwback to a time when I still found moments to fly purely for the joy of it. This short aerial piece is a simple meditation on “Sound and Color” — a chance to slow down and take in the season’s shift.

When I’m asked where I’d like to go on my Voyage of Discovery, my answer is always unequivocally Antarctica. For all of my adventures, from the remote Mayan ruins of Palenque, to the mountainous peaks of the Selkirks, I have never done something quite as adventurous as crossing the Drake passage. It’s a spectacular rite of passage! And the plunder of ice, animals, light and landscape that await on the other side are legendary.

#tbt to National Wildlife Day earlier this month! These sixty-second montages of wildlife moments are always a curating challenge. Our talented team of VCs capture loads of content throughout the year.

Premiere Pro users hot tip: Use markers on your timeline to flag moments so a simple search with third-party software, like PowerSearch, reveals them in seconds - all in one window. Never heard of PowerSearch?!? Get it now - esp. if you work with mountains of footage! Waiting for my residuals @digitalanarchyplugins !!!

Sunday, August 14th is World Lizard Day. From the Pacific Skink, to Black Shiny-Tailed iguanas - and the largest, most intimidating of them all, the Komodo dragon - the lizard family is as varied as it is charismatic!
