3 days and 40ish miles of hiking later I can finally cross one of the coolest things off my bucket list!!
Skyler had gotten us reservations last year to hike down into the Grand Canyon to see the blue waters of the Havasu Creek in Supai, AZ however a week before our original trip date the havasupai reservation saw the worst flash flood they’d seen in a while. Luckily we were able to reschedule our date and this past weekend it finally happened!
Starting off with a 10 mile hike from the hilltop to the campground, you descend down into the canyon towards the Supai Village and then all of the sudden you come across the clearest blue waters of the havasu creek. To say we were beat after carrying 40lb packs down would be and understatement. We took the rest of the day at the picturesque Havasu Falls followed by an early bedtime 💀 Our neighbors were lovely and meeting @___amber_rose___ !!! she guided us the next 8 miles from the campgrounds to Mooney Falls, to Beaver Falls, and then to the confluence of the Havasu Creek and Colorado River which was an amazing way to spend the day. Thank you sm for the awesome pics since I didn’t bring my phone with me (it was v nice 😎)We were supposed to have a day of RNR after a 16 mile hike day but some incoming weather had us hike out a day early. Needless to say the hike back up was one of the worst things I’ve ever done, but boy do you feel like you can do anything once you get up there. Next time we’re taking a helicopter out 😅

Finally getting around to starting a page for my bead work!! Introducing @bodhimala_beadworks 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ve been making a lot of bracelets lately with all of the extra beads I’ve had from making my mala and have really enjoyed creating some magick that’s much more affordable but also just as powerful!!
