POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This week, my guest is one of the greatest storytellers I have ever met.

His description of events makes you feel like you saw it in front of your very eyes.

And his sense of humor is unbelievably fantastic.

It’s the one and only @alexroy144 on TT. Our conversation takes us everywhere. One of the more brilliant minds in automotive media, with adventures for days. This was a treat and a half.

Please enjoy Alex Roy on episode 207 of Tormenting Tarmac!

Another @swagggles masterpiece. taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @alexroy144

First Mother’s Day w/o Mutti Roy, and still finding pictures. My brother passed before our mother did. He didn’t want her to know he was sick. I never told her. by @alexroy144

My mother Ingeborg Dorothea Roy passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, aged 82. She lost her dad before she was born, escaped Communist East Germany, came to America with a dollar in her pocket, got a green card, dressed like Audrey Hepburn, danced at Studio 54 and The Box, joined me on the Gumball 3000, drank and smoked with the best of them, raised two boys, took no s***, only drove stick, never missed an opportunity to overdress, left a cloud of perfume everywhere she went, only wore three colors, could trade quips with anyone, insulted almost everyone, was widowed twice, and kept 2.5 younger men on call to the very end. If you ever met her, you knew. An absolute firecracker. She loved Edith Piaf, and regretted nothing. She forbade me from sharing certain stories until she was gone. Prepare yourselves. 🙏🏼

If you knew her and we’ve never connected, plz reach out. taken in New York, New York by @alexroy144
