New series alert ‼️ I’ll probably change the name bc I’m indecisive BUT nothing happens at home, so let’s go outside

As a socially anxious girlie AND someone who doesn’t like spending money unless on a trip (lol) I’ll be quick to find ways to stay inside all day and end up being cut off from the outside world except for my phone which is not healthy 🤡

So here’s to finding new ways to go outside, make connections and find new opportunities I wouldn’t otherwise find in the comfort of my own home.

The first night in Europe I was exhausted. I didn’t sleep on the red eye and I wanted to go to bed early that night but my friend said “no pressure, there’s a salsa on in the town square” and I had a flood of thoughts going that talked me out of it
“I got no sleep, that can’t be healthy for me”
“She’s been here longer and probably wants to go see other friends, I don’t want to intrude”
“Idk how to salsa, my dancing sucks”
“I don’t want to be grumpy”

But this year is a year of saying yes again, to things that I know will lift me up. And you know what? If they don’t - you can leave! You can go and found out and if you’re not feeling it you can go home, but many times you’ll find out you needed it.

We’ve gotten so used to bailing and finding the comfort of our own homes on Friday nights instead of inconveniencing ourselves and our comfort to feel alive again and to be there for our friends.

LAST PART OF THE SERIES YALL WELCOME TO SPAIN

Same shit new place where I realize slow traveling helps me face my problems instead of ignore them!!!

on this episode we are faced with social anxiety and Sunday scaries x1000 of coming home after a fun trip surrounded by friends 24/7 🤡

If you are anything like me and crave chaos and adventure but also are a homebody with anxiety you get the fcking struggle. So the last two weeks in Seville really tested me but I made it a mission to not get sucked in and find balance 🙂‍↕️
