The most magical weekend.

Thank you to all who were a part of our special day, both in person and from afar. We have never felt so full of love and joy in our entire lives. This was the greatest weekend of our lives, and we are still euphoric because of all of you. Thank you for helping us kick off our happily ever after, and being part of our love story. We love you all. Thank you. The Newlyweds - Alex and Adam.

closed a long (long, LONG)-time dream role in a dream show with a DREAM CAST yesterday and am I still in denial? YES. more thorough appreciation post for all of these incredible humans coming soon as I process my thoughts and ~feels~, but for now, enjoy exactly what maureen would want - a whole bunch of pictures where she is the main attraction. eternally grateful to @alexpereznyc for trusting me with this iconic role and not only letting me, but ENCOURAGING me to have complete weird-(but hot🙃)-girl freedom with every aspect of it. I love you, maureen johnson, you absolutely, unapologetically chaotic weirdo. til we meet again 🐮🌙❤️

happy 4th anniversary to my favorite everything and the easiest decision I’ve ever made. I love you forever, @adammarino ❤️ by @alexshep

doodle-oodle-oodle… goodbye now :’)

have low-key wanted to play adelaide ever since seeing THE @kyllacustomrockwear absolutely demolish the role at my future high school when I was in fourth grade because MY GOD I had never seen anyone so cool and confident and hilarious and glamorous in my entire life!!! getting to step into miss a’s cute-ass vintage heels all these years later did NOT disappoint, and getting to do it alongside the greatest, most fun group of people was truly the most rewarding of treats. HUGE props to diva director @hannahbrookehill for assembling this dream team of good eggs to create some golden-age musical magic in the middle of rural kansas, AND for putting this massive show up in NINE DAYS (in her MUSICAL DIRECTORIAL DEBUT, what!!!). to my guys, dolls, and those outside the binary, see ya real soon 🙂‍↕️✌🏻 and to mrs. detroit - I love u, girl 🥲 til we meet again! 🤧💍📕💃🏼👠👰🏼‍♀️

alex 🤝 musicals set in the early ‘60s

what a fun lovely flash of joy this show was 🥲
truly a wonderful team of people, from “MYYY BOOYYYYSSS” onstage to our badass creative team and crew and our ever-changing but always-fierce band. also, I just gotta say it - I cannot overstate the serotonin boost of having ✨sparkly shimmery angel princess✨ music play every time you enter a room. big [stuff] thank you to our much-missed fearless leader @directlyamy for truly providing 🎶the magic touch🎶 and for understanding the feminine urge to be pushed around on a rolling cart by your platonic male friends while you sing about your lost love. 10/10 onstage experience. farewell to denny and the dreamers, mid-century ingenue supreme lois henderson (née franklin) (OOPS SPOILER!), all the absolute bangers we sang, each and every twinkie I took exactly one (1) bite out of per show, and of course, mrs. ivy clementine varney 🤓

yes, my valentine is funny. no, I will not ever be dedicating “my funny valentine” to him because it is the cruelest meanest most egregious diss track ever written!!!

I love you forever, @adammarino, and for the record - you are immensely photographable.
