God’s favorite child, and I will stand on that!! 😭🤍🙏🏼

LIKEEEEE, I GOT TO MEET LÁZARO!!! 😭💍👰🏽‍♀️
@lazarobridal

My dress-finding journey couldn’t have been any more perfect, and somehow God made an already special experience even MORE special!!

The fact that I now have my own personal sketch of my wedding dress BY THE DESIGNER HIMSELF?!?!! 🥹🤍 I genuinely have no words.

I already knew I wanted to preserve my dress in a shadow box, but NOW MY SKETCH IS GETTING FRAMED AND DISPLAYED RIGHT NEXT TO IT!! 😭💖

I will never forget this moment. Sometimes I have to sit back and realize that I’m actually living the life I once prayed for. 🥹🙏🏼🤍

I’m already so emotional 😭💖

I was one of those little girls who prayed for a good husband—to one day have a family, a happy home, and someone I could love and be committed to forever. 💍🤍

I dreamed of having a big church wedding, never really knowing if or when that day would actually come. And now… I’m living it. Where both our families went without even knowing 🥹⛪️✨

It’s truly a pinch-me moment to be a bride, to be planning the wedding I prayed for, and now to have my very own “yes to the dress” moment with a designer I used to watch and admire as a little girl. Thanks to my mommy 🫶👰🏻‍♀️💖

Little me would be absolutely speechless. 😭

God really does answer prayers in ways more beautiful than we could ever imagine. 🤍✨

My little-girl dreams are becoming my real-life memories, and I’m soaking in every single moment. 💐💍 by @alexsweetworld

Dreaming of this moment since a little girl 👰🏽‍♀️🤍💍

It’s still a dream ✨ I’m definitely living in my bridal era and enjoying every moment leading to I Do 💒

God has been so good to me, little Alex was not prepared to feel like a literal princess 👑 and getting this moment of forever with someone who truly loves me in good and bad 🩷

I’m Beyond blessed to have my mother who raised me into the woman I am today, my grandmother who’s shown me pure unconditional love, my big sister who’s pushed me to reach for dreams and always been my biggest cheer leader, and my best friend from high school who loves me for being me 😊✨

This experience was marvelous not a dress was pulled by them that I didn’t love 😍 the decision was definitely hard!

This year I did scale back on event planning because I’m planning my WEDDING 🤭

First year visiting @discoverygreen pumkin patch!

Getting my natural hair back has been one of the longest and hardest parts of wedding planning. 🥹🤎✨

Since my 16th birthday, I became OBSESSED with professionally coloring my hair. Every shade, every color, every version of Alex… I loved watching myself grow and evolve through them all. 🎨💇🏻‍♀️

My fiancé had seen me with every hair color EXCEPT my natural one. So, on February 6, 2024, when we got engaged, I knew it was time to say goodbye to every version of Alex and every color that had been part of her growth. 🤎

I wanted to walk down the aisle with my beautiful, dark, voluminous, NATURAL hair. 🥹🤍

And now, 2 years and 8 months later, I can finally say… IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! 😭🤎✨

Sometimes, the wedding prep isn’t just about the dress, the venue, or the details. Sometimes, it’s about reconnecting with yourself and embracing the beauty you were born with. 🫶🏼

Bridal era, but make it NATURAL. 🤎👰🏻‍♀️ by @alexsweetworld

Fun fact: Before my bridal era, I was never really a fan of wearing white for many reasons, of course… 🤭

Soooo, I’ve been shopping nonstop, looking for the right pieces that truly feel like ME! And thankfully, my first and only stop was @ohpolly 💖😍

Scorpio season is right around the corner ♏️, and those who know me are patiently waiting for this year’s birthday post! 👀✨

With that being said… this year’s photoshoot is officially giving BRIDAL ERA! 🤍💍 I can’t wait to finalize my looks with accessories, hair, and makeup… and, of course, having my fiancé by my side. 🥹❤️

Next on the wedding to-do list: invitation photos! 💌✨

Chapter 27 is looking a little different this year, and I’m soaking in every moment of it. 🤍

To love yourself through every season especially those where we feel we could be doing more and better…

My biggest critic is always me.
