Was also passiert, wenn man sie ins Wasser wirft?

We (@alextillalex & @nt_nt_nt_nt_nt_nt) are excited to announce that our short film, „Die Seelen der Dinge / The Spirits of Things“, has been nominated for this year’s @crossingeurope festival! Join us this Friday, 14:00 @ Central Linz for the screening.

„Everything in the world has that spirit and that spirit is released by things being set into vibration.“
— ascribed to Oskar Fischinger by John Cage)

*the Spirits of Things* sets out to actualize this idea through video stroboscopy, a medical imaging tool for the human vocal cords, applied to the nonhuman.

Come to experience a synthesis of slow motion and timelapse, of difference and repetition — a dance of blossoms and undergrowth, somewhere between the uncanny and the sublime.

Let your eye‘s mind take over.

Zurück zu Hause,
performance überlebt,
dann doch umgeworfen & wieder geklebt.
