There’s something I like about taking my time over dinner—no rushing through the menu, no checking the clock, just enjoying being out. This time, a few moments from dinner at @b3ton.gastrobar in Bucharest made it into the camera roll: a portrait, a look around, something on the table, and a little of the evening in motion. This is the final carousel from my Mykonos 2026 trip, and it feels like the right place to end the story. It starts with me trying to hold on to that summer feeling, moves through the little details that made this beach day so memorable, and ends with a video that takes me straight back there. There’s something about Mykonos that makes you say “just one more hour” until the whole afternoon disappears. One more swim. One more look at the sea. One more moment before you have to admit the trip is over. So consider this my last postcard from the island, for now. If you’re planning a night at Scorpios Mykonos, choose it for who’s playing. 🌅 We went for WhoMadeWho, and that sunset ritual became one of the highlights of my trip. The music, the light over the Aegean, the atmosphere around the stage… everything came together. One of those evenings you wish you could bring home with you. What makes Scorpios interesting is how much revolves around music and the setting. There’s a beach, a restaurant and spaces to spend the afternoon, with Sunset Rituals and a music programme that give you a reason to stay as the light changes. And WhoMadeWho were SO good. I knew I’d enjoy it, but being there, with that backdrop and that crowd, was something else. Easily an evening I’d plan a return trip around. My tip if Scorpios is on your Mykonos list: check the music programme before choosing your date, look into reservations for the experience you want, and arrive before sunset. Give yourself time to enjoy the place before getting caught up in the performance. Kalua still looks the part. 🌊 One of the most iconic beach-club settings in Mykonos: turquoise water, sun-soaked lunches and a party that slowly builds as the afternoon goes on. Honestly? The energy felt a little underwhelming this year compared with previous seasons, but Kalua remains a beautiful spot and is still worth experiencing at least once, especially if you want lunch, beach and party without changing locations. Mykonos is incredible, until one small mistake destroys your feet, your schedule or your bank account. 👀🇬🇷 Here are 10 Mykonos travel mistakes tourists still make: 1️⃣ Wearing heels in Mykonos Town. The cobbled streets are beautiful, but they will humble you immediately. 2️⃣ Thinking everything is “10 minutes away.” Distances look short on the map, but August traffic has other plans. 3️⃣ Landing without a transfer booked. Taxis and private transfers become extremely busy during peak season. 4️⃣ Choosing the cheapest hotel without checking its location. The money you save on the room can quickly disappear on daily transfers. 5️⃣ Booking beach clubs and restaurants last minute. Popular Mykonos venues fill up quickly, especially during August and XLSIOR week. 6️⃣ Planning five locations in one day. A beach club, sunset drinks, dinner and a party might look possible on paper.
