My new everyday lip gloss obsession by @madge_beauty 💓
Super thick and hydrating, but somehow not sticky at all.
I love the applicator… well… bc I look cool putting it on BUT it also has this subtle cooling feel.

The best times of life are the ones we live fully immersed in. The ones the pull you in so deeply you forget to ask what’s next. Just presence. Maybe you’re not be where you want to be yet, but don’t drown yourself in the pressures of tomorrow while beautiful moments pass you by. Trust in the author to carry you forward in ways better than you could have ever planned yourself, and just. Be.

Summer 2025 in retrospect: It’s Not That Deep

This summer, I spent less time learning and more time LIVING.

In your 20s/30s, I feel it’s easy to get caught in the cycle of “what’s next”, the next milestone, lesson, or version of yourself; but sometimes growth doesn’t look like the grind or constantly evolving. Sometimes it looks like slowing down enough to notice how far you’ve already come.

While I’m obsessed with deep thoughts/intellectually stimulating conversation, I’ve learned it’s just as important to pause in the process, to breathe it in, feel proud, actually appreciate and LIVE IN the moments you once prayed for.

Because real growth isn’t always about doing more, sometimes it just means becoming grounded enough to feel the life you’re creating.

Finally have a quick everyday makeup look DOWN. Honestly the glow up has been so real. Was looking at pictures of myself in high school on my Moms Facebook (couldn’t look on mine bc I deleted it to erase all the evidence 😂) and am really proud of the person I’ve become; both on the inside and on the outside. Miss me with the looks don’t matter nonsense. Ever since I was a little girl, whenever I’m with my Mom when the sun is setting, no matter where we are, she’ll always ask me “what colors do you see?” Then staring into the array of colors, we shout back and forth every color we see, from the ones as generic as orange, to the ones that might not yet have a name - easter egg light green.

For me it’s become a reminder to always take time in your day to stop and pay attention to the beauty we have right in front of us.

Spent the entire Summer (5 months) in Montreal mainly vibing by myself and falling in love with me all over again 🤍. Not that I ever fell totally off… just a girl obsessed with constantly learning more about who I am, what I love, and what inspires me, in order to make the best of this life here on Earth. 🌎

Here are 10 things I highly recommend you incorporate into your daily life… like, yesterday. 🫶🏽

1. You can be wearing track shorts and a white tee, with no make up and your hair in a bun; if you are happy and love who you are. THAT’S SO FXCKING HOT. Be hot.
2. Get comfortable doing things alone, and when I say get comfortable I don’t just mean fool yourself into believing you’re comfortable, I mean literally enjoy the time you spend by yourself. Eat dinner alone. Go explore the city alone. Go to concerts alone. You get the point. Do things alone!
3. Live in the now and be present with your people. The people in Montreal take time to enjoy their friends. There were multiple times I went to dinner with a friend and stayed at the restaurant for more than 3hrs! People there don’t just eat, chat, and leave. They actively pay attention and spend time with each other and dinner just happens to be there. Not the other way around.
4. Take out and park picnics are elite and so easy to make happen. More of those.
5. Be open to new people and new experiences. You aren’t better than anyone… well… except for people disrespecting you. Those people you are better than.
6. Find a little adventure in everyday.
7. Come up with a list of things you do when you wake up in the morning that prepare you to be a happy, loving, gratitude filled angel and have a successful day.
8. Headphones will change your life. Music, podcasts, audio books, etc.
9. FaceTime while doing chores. I’m a sap but my family is everything. I’m so blessed to have them as support as well as friends. Learned so much about my family just by hanging out on the phone with them while I ran errands/did chores around the house/got ready for bed.
10. and as always… make an effort to watch the sunset everyday. No matter where you are. Life has beauty all around us. You just have to stop to notice it. Self Love taken in Montreal, Canada by @alexxforde
