Saturday lineup is here and I’m on it!If I made a small batch of new shirts would anybody care? Or should I just sell more overflow crewnecks from 2018? There is much to ponder. I just listened to a folder of 40 voice memos and demos to trim the fat. This show is pretty close to the 10 year of “Matthew” too... Many thoughts to be had and decisions to be made. Surprise! Lansing, we have a date with you next week!Austin and I will be opening for Aaron Gillespie on Friday. Hard posting these ones too because they’re so cute and I love my husband a lot!It is finally feeling like fall, thank goodness. We found a killer veg pumpkin streusel muffin recipe if anyone would like to partake with us this season. I think I’m going to be getting very into baking now that I’ve remembered muffins and puff pastries are things. by @alexxmaniak

‼️We’re so back‼️Delighted to announce my first full band show in ~3 years will be opening for the legendary Algernon Cadwallader!I think excited is a bit of an understatement honestly. Joe has recorded just about my entire discography and I can’t imagine a better bill to usher in a new era of my music.Tickets are on sale now via @kickstandmichigan / @kickstandproductionsPlaying some songs I’ve never gotten to play live before at the venue I love the most with my friends @givemestein @emo_mustard & @evanlaybourn Thank you to all who have supported me throughout this hiatus, back injuries are no joke. It was timely to break my back WORSE right after I released a whole album about how my bad back can’t stop me from doing what I love. It has changed my relationship with music in indescribable ways, and every bump and stream since then has meant probably more than I can put in words.So thanks, yay, buy a ticket, see you soon! Ngl 2024 was brutal, but there was a lot of good mixed in there that I couldn’t live without. I do miss living a more instagrammable life, but I am proud of the person I am becoming through adversity. I love my husband, my friends, and my hobbies more than ever before. I had a spine surgery that has dominated my every day since but is proven to be the vital first step in my recovery, we met and adopted Simon, I got a graphic design job using my degree and my music industry experience at Kickstand Productions with the most amazing team ever. I got serious about my language learning journey and, most impressively, I’m a year sober from weed, which was great for my spine but not so great for my lethargy. Whether I feel good or bad doesn’t matter to me as much as feeling in tune with myself and connected to the people and places I love and spend my time with.“My Year” might be a state of mind. I’m playing music in my bedroom and drawing with graphite again. So in a way, 2025 is already my year. Byeeee 2024 by @alexxmaniak
