A few more moments from Ylva and Asbjørn’s annual summer hike.

For both of them, it’s become one of the highlights of the year. Time spent hiking, fishing, camping and simply being together.

Every summer, @ylvaholberg and her grandfather Asbjørn meet up to go hiking.

They’ve been going on hikes together since Ylva was little. When she was 12, they went on their first proper mountain hike. After that trip, she knew she wanted to do it again the next summer.

Asbjørn is 94. Over the years, they’ve spent many days in the mountains together. Walking, fishing, camping and talking. A lot of talking, according to the two of them.
For Asbjørn, it’s also a way to keep up with a younger generation. For Ylva, it’s time together and a shared love for being outdoors.
