Trials, Tribulations, Heart break and injury!
Asked God for Strength so he threw the kitchen sink at me before going into this fight - But we prevailed and the win was better than I could have imagined 🖤💙

We stay ACTIVE - eyes open and looking for the next challenge.

And The NEW! That One Was For You Grandad💙

Trails and tribulations, a huge loss, heartbreak and injury. A camp like no other but we overcame it all and got the job done. A great win last night against a tough tough opponent which made a wicked fight.

I love and appreciate all the support, thank you all so much as always. And a massive thank you all my sponsors.

Thank you for having me on @neilsonboxing @tm14promotions

Got to give props where it’s due. Shai started at the begging, from my shed to national champion. As one of the hardest kids to train, many sessions arguing with me, running home, questioning whether boxings for him, many tears and laughs. I saw something in him and he stuck to the plan and trusted me. As he learnt, I learnt. I was learning the amateur game as I started with him as my first ever competitive boxer to compete.

We both worked hard, and he has worked hard consistently which led to him becoming national champion this year. I’m very proud to say Shai, and many other boxers who have stepped through my doors I have taught from scratch. Which is so rewarding for me as a coach. 2 national champions(Ashlee McDermott) over the course of 2 years in the amateurs and were just getting started 🥊💙

Shai stuck to a routine which suited him, we have a plan. From 3 groups a week and 2 121 sessions. It’s been 4 years of seeing him everyday, the gym is his home and safe space. a bond that is un matched 🥊
