During the spring of 2024, a young man came in to introduce himself from his partner’s PE class, and asked if he could be a part of the basketball program.

I asked him at the time, “What do you think you can you help us do, and he said I’ll do anything you want Coach. I just want to be a part of the program.”

Alfred “Alfredo” Adeyemo has been the greatest of teammates these last two years he’s been a part of our basketball program. All the stuff he’s done behind the scenes when it comes to serving, from working the clock, to laundry, getting basketballs, rebounding coming in early and staying late and always doing it with a smile in his face and not a complaint.

Alfred, you truly embody my favorite verse Mark 10:43 “Not so with you, Instead whoever wants to be come great among you must be your servant.”

Thank you for showing us what true greatness is, thank you for serving our team, and thank you for showing us what true Love looks like by the way that you act and approach each day.

We will miss your smile and your presence each day, and couldn’t be more proud of the man you are.
