Guys, trauma is real.

It’s not fun.

It’s not pretty.

I’m still in it.

Some days are heavy.

This isn’t over.

I’m still in the middle of the fight.

The first day in bed I thought my leg would be cut off.

I kept thinking “oh my god, my leg is over. I can’t walk anymore.”

But it wasn’t like that.

I’m walking today because my parents carried me,

my colleagues showed up,

and Uncle and Aunt stood right beside me.

My surgeon gave me back my steps.

What you see now? This is just the warm-up.The real one hasn’t even started yet.
