A fabulous week in Denver where Nancy and I celebrated 43 years of marriage and my team at Community Heart & Soul did an incredible job on a gathering of our Coaches and set our strategic direction for next year. We had a day to wander and enjoyed seeing Colorado sights like Red Rocks, a bison herd, Lookout Mountain including Colonel Buffalo Bill’s gravesite, and visiting the wonderful town of Golden. taken in Denver, Colorado by @algetler

Hung out with Dennis in Boston at a comedy club. What a nice and regular guy. Despite all the attention he was getting he was just taking it all in stride and we had a great time. by @algetler

🎶It’s Howdy Doody Time🎶 Burt Dubrow’s talk on Buffalo Bob Smith and Howdy Doody at the Center for Puppetry Arts was such a pleasure. What a great surprise to see Kevin Frisch, Chance Mitchell, and especially Barbara Pearson Hewitson! See the Howdy display at the Center now! by @algetler

Nancy Getler and I were so happy to see Michael J Fox receive the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award from the Emmys / Television Academy at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, 2026, in recognition of his transformative advocacy and research funding for Parkinson's disease. The The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research’s work is not done and Michael’s example is a lesson to all. by @algetler

Goodbye, Dolly. We so admire the human you were, the joy you brought to the world, and your love for your artistry. Thank you for the millions of books you gave to kids. Nancy Getler and I have so many memories that include you. taken in Sevierville, Tennessee by @algetler

What an honor to have such a dominate spot in the 60th Anniversary edition of the Lake George RV Park’s vacation guide. Thank you to Dave King for having me back each year and to Chris Urban who produces the show! The audiences at the French Mountain Playhouse are always so much fun. And another thanks to Dave for supporting ventriloquism with my friend Lynn Trefzger and I on stage each summer. by @algetler

People ask, “What did you do this weekend?” Nothing.
“Where did you go?” Nowhere.
I submit the evidence why. taken in Keeler Bay, Vermont by @algetler

At the Vent Haven Museum, we have an Adopt-A-Dummy program to raise funds in a fun and significant way. My wonderful daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids pick a VERY meaningful one. Jimmy Nelson was my friend and mentor. This little guy symbolizes my start at age 8 that has led me to be on the board of advisors to this museum for over 30 years and to lead a team running the Vent ConVENTion. I love you, Fagan Five! BTW - my big brother Duke gave a little guy like this to me for Christmas in 1969. by @algetler
