En la finca, el mate no se toma: se comparte.

Pava sobre las brasas, el agua al punto justo, las torta fritas saliendo del fuego. Troncos como asiento, frutales despertando alrededor y la luz del atardecer cayendo sobre San Rafael.

Un ritual ahrgentino, sin apuro, entre todos los que están.

En marzo se cosecha. En agosto se decide cuánto. Cada planta de la finca se corta a mano, de a una, y cada yema que dejamos es un racimo dentro de ocho meses.

Hay un instante preciso en la finca donde la luz lo baña todo de color dorado y la tarde se rinde al anochecer.
