Students from the Class of 2028 had a great time at today’s Taking Steps Toward College event at the Phoenix Convention Center. Our juniors represented Alhambra well, and gained valuable information about the college application process, scholarships, financial planning, and other important resources. We’re proud of our Lions for taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity. by @alhambracounseling

Alhambra hosted its first annual College Shower today for some very deserving seniors. The students honored at this shower are attending ASU, NAU, Amherst College, Cornell College, and Smith College in the fall. Students were gifted items like bedding, luggage, backpacks and school supplies, hampers, and toiletries to use in their dorms. We loved celebrating these remarkable young men and women and reflecting on their many accomplishments during their four years as Lions. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for them. by @alhambracounseling

SENIORS: If you haven’t already completed your FAFSA, please plan to attend our event on Thursday, December 4th in the library. You should have received a link to sign up from your counselor. Parents and guardians are highly encouraged to attend so students can complete the entire FAFSA in one sitting. Estimated completion time is 30 minutes. by @alhambracounseling

Alhambra’s amazing seniors applied to universities this week at our annual university application event. Most seniors completed applications for all of the in-state universities, and some even applied out of state via the Common App. We’re so proud of these ambitious students, and we can’t wait to see where they go from here! by @alhambracounseling

A huge congratulations goes out to freshman Rebeca Rivas who was recently accepted to the prestigious Barrett Summer Scholars program at ASU. Rebeca will spend four days in June living on campus at ASU’s Downtown Campus and learning about the wonderful programs ASU has to offer with other likeminded rising sophomore students. We’re so proud of you, Rebeca! by @alhambracounseling

Today, Alhambra Counseling was honored to celebrate our seniors who have completed the FAFSA. Nearly 150 seniors (and counting) have successfully submitted their FAFSA for the 25-26 school year. We’ve surpassed our department goal of a 30% completion rate for the Class of 2025 with several more seniors still on deck to complete the FAFSA before the school year ends. To say we’re proud of this amazing class is an understatement, and a fun ice cream social during Advisory is the least we could do. Special thanks to our incredible admin team for helping scoop ice cream and cheer on our seniors. by @alhambracounseling
