We don’t know how old Gus is, so we celebrate his “gotcha day” instead! Thanks for jumping into my car in the target parking lot one year ago today, little buddy.

I know I post too much on here about my cat, but today @humanesocietyofwacats is challenging their followers to talk about their rescues, so I’m taking that as a good excuse.
.
.
I didn’t choose Gus, Gus chose me. I went back in January to bring water to the feral cats behind target, afraid their supply had frozen over, and as I opened my car door, this little rascal jumped in and refused to get out. He was so friendly that I think he had been dropped there by a previous owner, as there’s no way this little snugglebug grew up feral. So I took him home and the rest is history. .
.
Gus greets me at the door every single day without fail when I come home, he loves to sleep snuggled up against my shoulder, and he’s a very good conversationalist. All of this almost makes up for the fact that to this day, he tries to steal every bit of my human food that he can reach. by @alhill95
