🚨 NEW SCR EXCLUSIVE ➡️ Soul Clap Records welcomes back Papa Lu @papalumusic for a series of soon to be sought after dancefloor edits exclusively for our Bandcamp monthly subscribers.

Lu’s SCR single “Red Hot” / “Starting To Rise” (with @thewhooligan ) earlier in 2025 was his start with us and he’s been making moves with recent house music releases including “BASS” on Rules Don’t Apply.

Lu linked up with Ali Khalili @ali_fromouterspace to make this “War” edit that reminds us that rhythm and resistance share the same ancestral pulse. They channel that message into a deep, rolling, percussive house meditation built for modern sound systems and open-minded floors.

Soul Clap Records Subscriber Exclusives are mastered, high quality for DJ play - 24bit, 44.1khZ

Here’s to A New Year, with new ideas, new energy, new places, and new connections!

That which is ‘New” ironically is that which we do not yet ‘Know’, so may we embrace this New Year, and all of the unknowns that become truth to us.

We like to share massive gratitude to our Brazilian partners @aya_music_arts @favela_camp (@greghabib @macnaria1981 @salimricardo) to the DJs @stroxler @djleeburridge @magaofficiallll @__aglss__ @ali_fromouterspace and to our Kazbah family who came out in support, we couldn’t have done it with out you, especially @seanbehm @versace_terminator @goldkeey taken in Jericoacoara by @ali_fromouterspace

@the_kazbah brothers, @ali_fromouterspace & @papalumusic got together for a special B2B at @libfestival 2023 on the @thejunkyard_lib stage and it was a vibe! The recording is available for listening on soundcloud now. Check it out, share it, and bump it! The link is available in both Ali and Papa Lu’s bios. ❤️🙏🏽✌🏽 taken in Lightning in a Bottle by @ali_fromouterspace

This Saturday night I have the honor and pleasure of DJing within the walls of the best club in galaxy, Space Miami. Been blasting off from here since I was a young buck, and I can firmly say that my times there have been some of the best I’ve ever had, and a lot of you guys know that, because you’ve been right there with me. So, if you’re in town, catch me downstairs at The Ground at 23:00!
