#2 10KM Women Open | QRC Boom+ Bendang Half Marathon - 12 July 26 🌾🌅

spent the night before the race feeling overwhelmed and crying — barely slept. definitely not the ideal way to start a race. still, i showed up early the next morning with my @nismilanrunnersclub friends for their 21km flag off 🏁

a little nap after and... it was time to line up for my race category. the first 5km felt strong but it got harder after halfway. @mddanyell kept telling me whenever the pace was dropping and somehow those reminders gave me the push i didn't know i needed. it wasn't planned but having someone run alongside me, kept me focused through the course made all the difference. thank you 🙌🏼🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

💕 ngl, the scenery was BEAUTIFULLLLL but the 1–2km stretch of sand after 7km was so demanding that i barely noticed any of it 😭 by then, i wasn’t thinking about the view anymore. just trying to make it to the finish line

all in all, everything was well organized. just a few things that could be improved but hats off @q1runningclub and mr. president @hafizzdjengg for putting this race together! 👏🏼❤️‍🔥 a race that definitely left a mark <3 i made it to the finish line, and for this race that was enough 🤍
