Super excited to soon be revealing some brand-new promotional photographs that the wonderful Kajsa took for me - I highly recommend her if you need photographs! @kajsaswingphotography I hate getting my photograph taken. Let me reiterate that - I HATE getting my picture taken. I’m not the prettiest girl … Although I do have my moments - if the pose is just right 😂 and Kajsa managed to do this with me! What I try to instead is present my lack of pretentiousness / phoniness … there is way more to life than being ‘really really really good looking’ after all. * the only thing that really sucks is that in this business most venues book vocalists based primarily on their looks ( and youth !) - especially ones that they think look good to men * .. this is a pretty disgusting trend in the industry, but it ain’t gonna change in my lifetime …..hey ho, not much I can do about that. #hotjazz #bawdyblues #womeninjazz #scottishamerican #mature by @aliaffleck
