You don’t know Toronto comedy if you don’t know ALIA RASUL!!!!!

Alia Rasul is a Toronto-based comedian, community leader, and managing artistic director of @baddogtheatre. She is a member of the @tita.collective, an award-winning group of Filipina theatre artists. She recently published her first collection of poetry, Super Important Filipina Thoughts, and also co-produced and wrote a short documentary 15 Ways My Dad Almost Died, streaming on CBC Gem!

I MEAN…..🤩

If we’re lucky, she might breakdance. NO PROMISES BUT IT COULD HAPPEN!

Recently, I decided I was going to filipinomaxx my little apartment. Did a bit of crafting (using some leftover supplies from a parol workshop hehe) and made these for my windows! I have been obsessed with the Spanish style stained glass from ancestral Filipino homes for a while. Next step is to actually get them done in glass or capiz- anyone know a guy?
