Some sets are about the music. Others are about the moment.

Looking forward to going B2B with my brother @vprodrig this Sunday July 19th at @festivalparasol x Piknic Électronik.

Funny how my summer keeps leading me back under the shade... first Canopée, now Parasol 😂🌴

We'll be setting the tone through golden hour. Good people, open air, and a soundtrack for a summer evening.

Introducing CANOPÉE 🌿

We’ve been dreaming about bringing a little more daytime dance culture to our side of the river, so this Saturday, we’re starting something new.

Think sunshine, cold drinks, good people, and dance music carrying us from the afternoon into sunset 🌞

A new summer ritual taking root on the terrace at @aux4jeudis. The first of many afternoons beneath the Canopée.

For our first gathering, we’re bringing together four familiar selectors from the Capital region’s dance floors to soundtrack the journey from afternoon into sunset:

Bienvenue sous la CANOPÉE 🌿

On rêvait depuis un moment d’amener un peu plus de culture électronique de jour de notre côté de la rivière, alors ce samedi, on lance quelque chose de nouveau.

Imaginez: du soleil, des verres bien frais, de belles rencontres et de la musique dance pour nous accompagnr de l’après-midi jusqu’au coucher du soleil 🌞

Un nouveau rituel estival prend racine sur la terrasse d'Aux4Jeudis. Le premier de plusieurs après-midis sous la Canopée.

Pour cette première édition, quatre visages bien connus des dancefloors de la région se réunissent pour mettre la trame sonore à ce voyage de l’après-midi jusqu’au coucher du soleil :

Alright, alright… I’m officially done unpacking Bali 😅 but there was one last BIG gift we brought home…
Family.

After an incredible 2025 that began with our wedding and carried us through our honeymoon in September, we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful way to close this chapter. Hamdellah.

We’re so grateful to share that we’re expecting our baby boy 💙🌊

I feel forever grateful to be stepping into fatherhood alongside my best friend and partner. A woman who couldn’t be more fit to be a mother, and someone I feel truly blessed to walk this life with. Hbb Laudy Daudy.

I'm also deeply grateful to be entering this chapter alongside some of my closest friends, and to watch our kids grow up together from day one.

It feels a little bittersweet turning the page on a life without kids or real responsibility, but my heart is open, full, and ready for what’s next. I couldn’t feel more confident with the love and support of our friends and family behind us.

Bali gave us everything: space to savor every meal, move our bodies and recover, soak in every beach, exhale at every sunset... And most importantly, time together.

If there’s one thing I took from my first @hyroxca it’s this: shit happens, laugh, and keep going 😅

Competition and racing feel serious enough. You already put enough pressure on yourself through the prep, the workouts, the pace goals, the grind. It’s a serious process, and the reward is feeling yourself grow stronger, faster and sharper. But you train so much and so hard that it's easy to forget the point is to enjoy it, not just survive it.

But mannn… life has a way of throwing curveballs and humbling you. Nothing TRULY prepares you for the work it takes to outdo yourself on your first race day. You’ll find yourself questioning everything mid-race, your mind testing if you’re really ready to lay it all on the floor.

In my case, I got blessed with a lovely souvenir from Indonesia, a case of Bali belly just before the race (plus some jet lag from my trip back). So yeah, my prep didn’t include that part. But yo, mama didn’t raise no quitter 😤

The worst part? Having to step out mid-race to “drop the kids off at the pool.” Once daddy handled business, it was game on again 🫡

Honestly, if my wife wasn’t there cheering me on, I might’ve called it quits right there. But there was no way I’d let down my #1 supporter ❤️

And to my brother @johnn_a9, no one else I’d rather have by my side for this one. From joking about it to signing up for the Pro Division on our first try, we really did it. We trained, we suffered, we laughed, and we crossed that line together brother. Something I’ll always cherish about our friendship and love for the grind. The real victory was in the shared experience 🤝

Big love to the @chelseaathletica crew for being there to support us and for the swag, loved repping y’all. Got my appetite for HYROX-style workouts from the Barn, and look where it’s taken us 🖤

Uluwatu used to just be a funny-sounding word to me. Uluwatuuuuuuu! And Bali felt like a mirage, a dream too far away to reach. Now it’s become my first impression of the Island of the Gods, and our honeymoon destination, etched forever in memory.

It’s where we first felt the unmatched hospitality of locals, their smiles so warm they inevitably become your own. Where waves carry your problems away. Where wellness is woven into the culture, home to some of the best meals we’ve ever eaten and one of the most inspiring fitness spaces I’ve trained in.

Add in beach clubs with views straight out of a postcard and a vibe that stays true to keeping it chill. Uluwatu was real.

Couldn’t be happier with the time my wife and I got to spend here. Next up: Ubud 🌴✨ taken in Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia by @aliasharb
