This is how I feel after a day at Gothenburg Book Fair. 😮‍💨 It was noisy and crowded as usual, but with the excellent company of @lycke_tradgard and @christinalindstrom.forfattare I got through the day and the following @b.wahlstroms afterparty (where I forgot to take pictures) 🥂Met very nice people and saw my latest book project on display which was nice 😊 by @alibabaform

I took a day trip to Stockholm a few days ago to be at the book release party 🥳 at the beautiful @norstedtsforlag and meet up with author Reyhaneh and friends. Super proud of this book, it’s good to see it out there now!

Finding inspiration and getting into the mood for illustrating this book Boken om ilska (The Book About Anger) was easy. I’m angry all the time nowadays. Why are so many people in power set on destroying our world for their own benefit instead of trying to make things actually work for all of us?
Anyway, I’ve been working as a poll worker for the last two weeks (election day yesterday, not all votes are counted yet) and I must say, I was amazed to see so many people turning up to vote, patiently standing in sometimes hour long queues. It’s an important election, I’m keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

Yay! I am overjoyed to have received my copies of Boken om ilska (The Book About Anger) that I was working on earlier this year.

”In this book children can read about what anger is, why it arises and how to use it in a good way instead of causing problems. The tone is clear and warm, adapted for children from about 6 years old, and the book is just as suitable for reading alone as with an adult.

With concrete examples and practical tools, the book shows how to take control of your anger, what happens in your body when you get angry, how to resolve arguments, say sorry and get help when the anger doesn’t go away.”

Will be available in bookstores any day now. Author: Reyhaneh Ahangaran, editor: Malin Bergman, book publisher: B.Wahlströms, illustrator and graphic designer: me 🥳

I have been glued to my screen for weeks but yesterday I left my studio to do something different - I joined a workshop on how to make paper flowers 🌸🌺🌼 A lot of glue involved here too, most of it ended up on my fingers 😅 but it was great fun!

@golden.coil has just launched their annual cover design contest (ending March 30) and I’m here for it! There are many beautiful entries already, you can check them out at #gcxdesign26 - and why not participate with your own design?

This is my entry, Honeysuckle spring.

When I’m really, REALLY busy and have tons of things I need to do, I start doing other things instead. Like making a Honeysuckle pattern for the @golden.coil 2026 Design Contest. I added the butterfly because, you know, pollinators are the best 🦋
