🎨 Art vs Artist 2024 🎨What a year! 2024 was full of ups and downs, but we persisted! 🎆 I am excited for the new year and the promise of accomplishing great things in the near future!I must admit that I didn’t create as much art as I wanted this year. ✨January Recap✨Hello everyone! 🤍 It’s been a while!January went by so quickly, and I feel like I am forever trying to catch up with work while it keeps piling up. I hope that February is a gentler month.Here are my January Highlights:⭐️ My childhood bestie got married :’) <3 ⭐️ I went home (Mexico) for 10 days. I got to spend quality time with my mom, family and friends (and eat delicious food)! ⭐️ Attended a King’s game! Unfortunately they lost 😞 ⭐️ Celebrated my friend’s birthday and ate yummy food!⭐️ I found a new favorite fantasy series, and I am obsessed! It’s so so good. ⁉️Where have I been⁉️Hello! I hope everyone is doing well 🤍 I wanted to make a post about all the fun activities and traveling I did this Summer! 👉🏻 I went to a conference in Chicago with my high school students👉🏻 I did a 3-month internship at a biotech/drug-development company in SSF👉🏻 I went to Warped tour! 👉🏻 I had a lot of fun sightseeing in San Francisco this Summer, trying new foods and even going to a Giants game! 👉🏻 I went to an academic workshop in Japan!I had a fantastic Summer and I wouldn’t change anything about it! 💛 Bearded Iris 💛Today’s #sciart post is about #beardediris ! 💛 Bearded irises are a type of iris known for their vibrant and large flowers. They tend to be bigger and more colorful compared to other varieties of iris plants.🌱 Iris plants grow from rhizomes, which are modified stems located underground that can produce lateral shoots. Pansies have been my go-to flower to draw since college, so they felt like the easiest way to ease back into art, even with all the frustration lately.
