Internationals I don’t want you to miss out so providing Amazon ships to your location I want to send you one of the following (read my reviews then choose or maybe availability will pick for you…)
📖 Runaway by Elle Boskov
📖 Wild Ride by @rennerwrites
📖 The Fury of Love by @authork.bennett

To enter follow me, tag a friend who loves reading and state your country so I know which draw to enter you in. If you could share the post I would appreciate that too but only the tags will count as entries. Competition closes Wednesday 4th November at 11:59pm AEDT.

Competition is only affiliated with me! Please don’t enter then unfollow - it’s literally me on the mug you want to win, it’d be such a strange rejection 😂 by @alice_reads_again

This morning I saw a post about how ARC reviews are untrustworthy - EXCUSEZ-MOI?! I am a neurospicy Capricorn, I cannot lie and live with myself!
I have chosen not to brutalise indie authors on my feed and am withdrawing from ARCs I do not enjoy and/or do not feel I can promote. Every ARC I share, I genuinely love and hope you will too.

Now let’s see where my video cuts off today 🤣

Can’t stop, won’t stop smashing out my ARCs! Far From Home is by Australian author @booksbydevonmay, and follows two Aussies through a Canadian Winter. Despite not feeling like the target audience I enjoyed Riley and Lara’s story, but I imagine the under-40 audience would go wild for it! Lara’s character evolution over the course of the novel is admirable but Riley, he’s absolutely lovely from beginning to end! Can you write him into existence Devon? What a wonderful MMC!

I will be adding more of @elizamodistewrites books to my TBR because Bones Between Us was the genre-mashup read I have been looking for! A little lighter than the crime I am used to reading, but in a way I think is good for us all, situated as we are in the shitshow that is 2026. Bones Between Us is a master class in how a crime novel can still leave you feeling warm and fuzzy, if a little nervous about where things are headed regarding the identity of a certain murderer… 👀

Off the Ice is the debut from Aussie author @authorsarahk and a really fun read!
Scarlett is an Aussie Pilates instructor who has left Australia for Seattle and a new start. Levi is the captain of the Seattle NHL team and has ended his season with a significant shoulder injury. Scarlett is tasked with rehabbing a reluctant Levi and while they get off to a rocky start, there’s another kind of tension simmering below the surface… 🔥 I had a ball reading this book and it put me in a great mood! It hit all the notes I want from a mainstream sports romance novel and I really enjoyed the main characters.

My book collection is undergoing a period of rapid growth! Parcels are being delivered regularly. When I hyper-focus, I HYPER-FOCUS!
I treated myself to some newbies from @enchantedtalesandink amongst a lot of recent second hand buying and I was thrilled to receive my beautiful box of goodies this week 😍

THANK YOU! I appreciate every single person who has looked at my content and thought “I want to see this page again” and pressed “follow”. Thank you to everybody who has liked or commented on a post or story I have made - it may not have felt like much, but it was received with enthusiasm and kept me going while the algorithm tried to break my spirit! I appreciate you all! 💕

Nothing says “I love you” like convincing your hostage the only way to save her life is to enter into a marriage of convenience with you - but reluctantly marrying a slippery Mafia Don isn’t the wildest thing that is about to happen to Valentina! In @m.s.davidson’s debut novel Silk of Blood, no person and nothing is what it seems. What starts as an unlikely romance between mafia Don and captive surprises the reader by becoming a thrilling, high stakes adventure.

Thank you so much to @paperbackintheday and @solo.linnea ❤️ I was one of the lucky winners of their Land Leopard and Gizmo art print giveaway! What an envelope of joy to receive today 😻

I have been checking the mailbox daily for WEEKS for my @marlataviano envelope! It is no secret I love Heated Rivalry, but we are also big Arnold Lobel readers in this house, and my youngest son and I particularly LOVE Frog and Toad! The combination of HR quotes on F&T pics hits me in a happy place and, considering Lobel was closeted when he wrote these books, I think there’s something beautiful in seeing F&T collide with queer joy.

Check that little “New Yorker” on slide 1 😍

Envelope 2 is already on its way 🐸

Thank you @rangertweedie for entrusting us with your childhood Frog and Toad book and starting our obsession that has grown to 10 Lobel books ❤️

Ultimately I’m not sure if this reflects more on me on the books… but for a moment there, scrolling my Goodreads, I had ZERO recollection of reading these! It slowly came back to me but I have very few details at all. These days, my TBR is so long that I can’t commit to a series that doesn’t move me, and read 5 forgettable books when there are so many begging for my attention - but back in March? Different story 🫠

I don’t not recommend - sometimes forgettable fluff is just what the brain needs! And I know I would have remembered them if they were bad…!
