Friends are forced to navigate a new world when their tradition is disrupted. The transformative change leaves them questioning their own existence.

Looking Back at My Filmmaking Journey: Part 5 (Final)

What I Learned:
Filmmaking is about adaptation—on set, in life, and within yourself. This film reminded me that disruption can be uncomfortable, but it often leads to the transformations we need most.

As my first (and probably my only) "Dance Film", I was challenged to tell a story without any dialogue. It was quite an interesting experience for sure!

"Alice in Nite Hawk" (2019) --- a group of friends must navigate a new world when their long-held tradition is suddenly disrupted. The story becomes a meditation on change, identity, and what it means to evolve.

Here’s a #behindthescenes photo of two of the fabulous people behind @portlanddancefilmfest and the Oregon Dance Commission! They were in the weeds with us staying up late into the night — and even helped us with craft services!
