🇸🇲 Eccellenze Sammarinesi: un nuovo francobollo celebra i 50 anni di Titancoop

📮 Prosegue il percorso filatelico di “Eccellenze Sammarinesi”, la serie inaugurata nel 2024 da Poste San Marino per rendere omaggio alle realtà imprenditoriali che contribuiscono a valorizzare il territorio e il tessuto economico della Repubblica.

La nuova emissione celebra i 50 anni di cooperazione di Titancoop, realtà profondamente legata alla comunità sammarinese che, dal 1976, opera al servizio di soci e cittadini, coniugando tutela del potere d’acquisto, qualità, responsabilità sociale e attenzione per il territorio. 🤝

🎨 A rappresentare questo importante anniversario è “Oltre”, l’opera commissionata da Titancoop all’artista Alice Pasquini. Una giovane figura rivolge lo sguardo verso l’orizzonte del Monte Titano, evocando il legame con San Marino e le proprie radici, insieme alla capacità di guardare al futuro.

💌 Il francobollo, dal valore di €0,95, è emesso in minifogli da 4 valori, per una tiratura di 20.000 esemplari.

Today, we celebrate Italian Contemporary Art Day!

October 10 marks the 22nd Giornata del Contemporaneo, promoted by @amaci_musei (AMACI – Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums) and supported by @mic_italia and @italymfa, an annual initiative bringing contemporary art closer to the public through exhibitions, events and cultural experiences across Italy and beyond.

This year’s theme, Geographies of Contemporaneity, explores how places, communities and identities are continuously shaped by connections, exchanges and transformations.

To mark this occasion, we’re highlighting Italian artist @alicepasquini and her work “The City Between Us”, a site-specific artwork created for the scaffolding surrounding our venue here in New York.

Through people, gestures and everyday encounters, Alice transforms an unexpected urban space into a visual story about the connections that shape our City.

Painting at the Médiathèque Erik Orsenna in Villiers-le-Bel, in the northern suburbs of Paris.

A médiathèque is more than a place for books. It offers children and young people free access to art, stories, workshops and new experiences, right in their own neighbourhood.

I was struck by the work these places do and their connection with the community, especially during a week when students were taking to the streets across France, raising questions about education, equal opportunities and the future.

I’m happy to have got to know this place and to have contributed to it with my mural. taken in Villiers Le Bell , Paris by @alicepasquini

Questa è “The City Between Us”, la nuova opera site-specific di @alicepasquini, realizzata per il 690 Park Avenue, sede del Consolato Generale d’Italia a New York @italyinny.

Romana, classe 1980, Alice Pasquini è una street artist e illustratrice che ha portato il suo lavoro in oltre 100 città nel mondo, muovendosi tra street art, pittura e illustrazione.

L’opera resterà visibile sulla struttura per tutta la durata dei lavori.

Park Avenue, through an Italian lens. “The City Between Us”, a new site-specific work by Roman street artist and illustrator Alice Pasquini, now brings Italian contemporary art to the exterior of our home at 690 Park Avenue.

Created for our building, the artwork unfolds through fragments of everyday life, imagined journeys and connections between people and places.

Known for a visual language that moves between street art, painting and illustration, Pasquini has brought her work to public spaces in more than 100 cities around the world.

Now, her distinctive style becomes part of the New York streetscape, creating a new dialogue between Italian creativity and the city we call home.

The work belongs to Alice Pasquini's 'Look Up' series, created for the HKwalls 2024 festival in Hong Kong. Painted on the exterior wall of Stone Coffee in Sai Ying Pun, it invites passersby to look up and pause - the central theme of the series, connected to the climate change topic of the festival.

🇫🇷 Fresque murale représentant un enfant en mouvement, bras tendus vers une grue en origami, sur fond rouge profond. L'œuvre appartient à la série « Look Up » d'Alice Pasquini, créée pour le festival HKwalls 2024 à Hong Kong. A city is made of places, but also of encounters, memories and all the things we carry with us as we move through it.

The City Between Us is a site-specific artwork created for the Consulate General of Italy in New York @italyinny A continuous visual story unfolding across the building, bringing together fragments of everyday life, imagined journeys and connections between places and people.
