He was the ice to her fire ❄️🔥

Absolutely in love with this illustration by @fiza__art7655 ! She perfectly captured the relationship between Prince Ike and Charlotte and the magical atmosphere of the Winter Realm.

I figured it was a good time to properly introduce myself, so hello everyone! My name is Alice Red and I’m a Fantasy and Romantasy author.

I’ve lived in several European countries before settling in the Netherlands. This allowed me to experience firsthand the benefits and struggles of multiculturalism. I’d say this is one of the biggest themes that influence my stories together with carving our own path in life.

One important aspect regarding my stories is that they are all connected in a very independent way (okay, let me explain). If you read more than one of my stories you will probably find several things that ring a bell, but you don’t have to read them all to understand what is going on, of course! They are just pieces of a very complex puzzle in the universe I’ve built (so if you want to know more, you just have to dive into another one of my books!)

At the moment, I’m pouring all my energies into three main projects:

❄️ Winter Delight is a short fantasy story coming out this November 2026 as part of the Midwinter Magic anthology. It blends the whimsical atmosphere of Once Upon a Broken Heart with mouthwatering (and magical!) desserts.

⚔️ Project Silver is a dark fantasy novel that blends the Shadow Voice and trials of Phantasma with the god-enslaved world of The Gods Below.

🥀 Thorns of Chaos is a dark fantasy series of four planned novellas inspired by Beauty and the Beast. It explores the struggles of carving your own path in a world set on labeling you as the villain.

If you’d like to follow along on this journey, don’t forget to subscribe!

Cold as ice but no snow in sight.

In the Winter Realm, snow is a coveted ingredient in the cuisine. So what happens when a curse makes snow completely disappear?

In Rividiós, the capital of the Winter Realm, the consequences are very clear: oblivion.

Welcome to Rividiós, capital of the Winter Realm. Here, magic steals the warmth from the very air you breathe.

In a land blessed by the God of Good, you’d think no evil exists… but shadows always cling to where light shines brightest.

It all started with a curse.

And in the Winter Realm, a curse of snow has terrible consequences, since it’s a coveted ingredient in their cuisine.

Before, emissaries from faraway lands traveled just to try their cunning dishes. Now, those memories scatter in the frosty wind.

And just when everything seemed lost… she appeared. And everything changed.

Boredom. Loneliness. Cold. Or perhaps there’s something more?

The Winter Realm was widely known for its cunning dishes, snow a coveted ingredient in their cuisine. But things are never meant to stay as they are for long.

Ten years ago, the Prince’s heart froze, and snow was seen no more. When everything seemed to be lost… she appeared.

Rividiós is the capital of the Winter Realm, blessed by the God of Good. But if you think that means it’s devoid of all evil… you are sorely mistaken.

Meet Antella, the archnemesis. Loved by everyone except Charlotte, perhaps only a fellow pastry chef could see beyond her sugary exterior and glimpse what’s hidden underneath.

Charlotte is convinced Antella is like a raisin, ruining every gathering wherever she goes… but she’s only getting started.
