I’m so incredibly grateful to be the recipient of this year’s Lloyd Rees Emerging Artist Award.
Thank you so much to the wonderful gallery team @gallerylanecove @miguel_olmo_artist, @lanecovecouncil, @lanecoveartsociety, the judges @kon_gouriotis_au @kirtika.kain and @jatckart, congratulations on your amazing solo show.
Thank you for making my dream come true, and I’m so excited to create a new body of work for the next exhibition. The artwork is very personal to me as it was created in the memory of a loved one, so this feels extra special; I feel a huge validation and support to my practice. This very prize was something I quietly hoped for all year and I’m so thankful for this opportunity.
Congratulations to @taramcintosh, @adrickisdoingart and all the finalists!
