tell me, what was your most worthless wish? did it become buried underneath the pillowy sunlight? like a whisper caught in the nape of your tongue? did it spurt out like water in the trenches of your mind?

would you feature it in an art exhibit, dubbed "last lines before death"? would you even know what that meant? i can tell you this much is true; your gaze hurts like summer heat, but cures like an IV dose, feeding the line, feeding the lie as your skin turns from tan to white.

is there sand in your veins from carving castles in-between sutures? did the drawbridge ever lower? i hope someday, that it will for you. my dearest friend. by @alien.obsrvr

it was pretty surreal finally seeing turnover after all these years. i wanna say it was 2014 when i first heard "most of the time" and that was probably my first foray into anything that resembled pop punk/emo. then "peripheral vision" dropped and everything changed. listened to it endlessly throughout the years like many others have, and it really left such a beautiful imprint on me.

a seminal record by a truly stellar band. i'll be first in line for the 20 year tour if we don't blow up by then 🤍
