Na tohtoročnom Cinematiku sme okrem produkcie festivalových zvučiek boli aj súčasťou dvoch prednášok.

Prvá sa zaoberala aktuálnymi trendami VFX v reklamnej produkcii. Pozreli sme sa na nové technológie, meniace sa pracovné postupy aj na to, ako sa AI postupne stáva súčasťou produkčného workflow.

Zároveň sme odhalili niečo zo zákulisia tvorby zneliek pre Cinematik a ukázali, čo všetko stojí za výsledným obrazom.
Ku koncu Cinematiku sme vystúpili v diskusii Aktualít s Braňom Dobšinským o vplyve AI na budúcnosť filmu.

In this commercial for @orange_svk , we combined traditional live-action footage shot on a green screen with AI-generated environments and scenes.

The actors, movement, camera work and timing were all created in a real-world setting. Everything around them was then gradually built in the digital one. To keep the AI fully under control throughout the entire process, we created an accurate 3D model of Tomášovský view. This allowed us to ensure that the entire commercial works as one cohesive visual world. by @alien3dstudio

Chtěli bychom moc poděkovat všem, kdo přišli na českou premiéru krátkého filmu SYNC režiséra Luboše Vackeho @lubosvacke . Děkujeme moc celému štábu, hercům Janu Hájkovi @jan_hajek_official a Ondrovi Žárovi @ondy.zara , koproducentům z Alien studia @alien3dstudio . Bylo to pro nás o to úžasnější, že je to první česká premiéra filmu pod hlavičkou Stairway Films. Myslím, že budeme chtít takových večerů zažít více, takže se všichni těšme! AI in advertising is not just about generating images. It is about who guides it — and how.

At Alien, we have been working with 3D animation and VFX for over 20 years, and today we use that experience in our AI workflow.

In our latest showreel, we present how far advertising can be pushed when AI is combined with experience from 3D and VFX production.

Simple 3D models and animations serve as references for camera movement, objects, and characters. This allows us to define the movement, composition, shot continuity, and overall cinematic look. by @alien3dstudio

Great thing about this one - apart from working with the amazing crew that was with us on set - we were able to shot the entire thing in the space of our studio.

AI is here to stay, there is no doubt about it. Here at Alien, we fully embraced it. In this short film, we set to explore the current capabilities and boundaries of AI - all this while being fully aware that they are expanding with every passing week.

Our goal was to test how a real actress could be seamlessly integrated into various AI-generated environments, costumes and character designs. All this, while maintaining consistency across shots, lighting and overall cinematic look and feel.

At the same time, we remain committed to high-quality 3D and VFX craftsmanship, which still offers the highest level of creative control over the final image. Technology is evolving at an incredible pace, and we believe it's important not only to keep up with these changes, but to fully understand and leverage their potential.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in this project, the actress @autentickabrona , director @michalvalentin_ , DOP @rene_kontur , and @bajko_studio for SFX.

Každý ročník Cinematiku má svoju vlastnú tému, vizuálnu identitu aj príbeh. ✨

Na 21. ročníku opäť spolupracujeme s @ohmydot.agency a tentoraz aj s @alien3dstudio . A hoci vám zatiaľ nemôžeme prezradiť viac, jedno vieme už teraz, na festivale sme sa na tejto kampani zhodli až nezvyčajne rýchlo.

Aj preto sa nevieme dočkať, kedy vám ju ukážeme celú.
