It took me 7,5 months to settle down here - Being really happy with my home and with everything I need
I don’t know if it’s a lot of time to settle down in a new country where you knew nobody on the island but what I know is that it has been quite a ride with ups and down. I lived in 3 different home before the final and good one, didn’t ended up well each time, and had a lot of stress over the renting issues (almost only airbnb here in the south)
At some point even ask myself wtf I am doing here, the rollercoaster i was in was really strong emotionally and i was living in some conditions I would never accept in Paris. Does it really worth it ? What Tenerife is trying to tell me?
I bought my motorbike while i didn’t know where i would be the next month.
I brought my turntable and speakers from France while i was living in a place i couldn’t turn them on.
But little by little things went how it has to be. Poco a poco. This is the lesson here the universe tought me. I’m not a patient person but I learnt a lot with this experience and that everything comes at time.
You need to be patient but also take action for the Life you want. Take risks. Do your best and then relax.
Now i live in a place which was beyond all my expectations with the best roomie & since last week, I could plug my turntables with the sea view and the feeling I felt was … accomplished. I finally have all I was wishing for. If you would have asked me when I arrived to this island how my dream life would be, I would have pictured exactly that.
Even if things are not in order yet - and for a long time I felt in a low point [dans le creux de la vague] just do so you don’t let other choice to the universe to give you what you resonate with.
And I’m not sharing all of this to show off but to say if I did it, everybody can do it.
