Love this trend 🥺 A little of them in me, and a whole lot of me in her. 🤍 #WhoDoILookLike #FamilyGenes #FamilyResemblance #MotherDaughter #MyTwin GeneticsAreWild ReelsTrend by @alifewitherin
We spend 18 years raising them to be amazing humans and preparing them for the day they’re ready to go off to college. We teach them how to be independent, how to make good choices, how to handle hard things, and how to chase the life they want. Then somehow that day actually comes. After all the shopping, packing, organizing, decorating and making sure she had everything she could possibly need (while she also battled the stomach flu during move-in, which was an adventure all on its own 😅), two days ago I hugged my girl goodbye, got on a plane and flew home without her. I know she’s ready. I know she’s exactly where she’s supposed to be. I’m so proud of her and so excited for everything this next chapter will bring. But I don’t think anything really prepares you for the moment you realize your job as a mom is starting to look a little different. For 18 years, I’ve been right there…helping, fixing, reminding, protecting and showing up. Now I get to watch her do all of those things for herself. She’s starting a brand new chapter, and I guess I am too. Take care of my girl GCU. Miss you already and love you endless, Little Bear. 🤍 by @alifewitherin
This was your sign to plan a girls’ day. 🌻 @bloomsbyjoella made the whole experience so fun by showing us around, teaching us about the flowers, and then letting us create our own bouquets. Already planning another trip!! #upickflowers #girlsdayout #morganhill #flower #flowerfarm by @alifewitherin
Happy 18th Birthday to my best friend🤍 Eighteen years ago, you made me a mom, and that has been the greatest blessing of my life. Watching you grow into the incredible young woman you are today has been the greatest joy and privilege I could ever ask for. You are kind, hardworking, compassionate, and the kind of person who makes everyone around you feel loved. You make me so proud every single day. This year is such a big one. You graduated high school, you’re officially an adult, and you’re getting ready to start your next adventure at GCU. While my heart isn’t ready to watch you leave for college, I couldn’t be more excited to see the life you’re about to build. I know God has amazing plans for you, and I can’t wait to watch them unfold. No matter how old you get, you’ll always be my Little Bear. Thank you for making me a mom. It has been the greatest blessing and greatest joy of my life. Happy 18th Birthday sweet girl. I love you more than words could ever say. Here’s to chasing your dreams, embracing every adventure, and never forgetting how deeply you are loved. Forever proud of you. 🤍 by @alifewitherin
Red, white, and GCU bound. What an unforgettable day celebrating our girl. Thank you to everyone who came, helped, and made Bria’s graduation party so special. We are so grateful for the love, support, and encouragement you’ve poured into her over the years. Bria, watching you grow into the kind, hardworking, compassionate, and determined young woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of everything you’ve accomplished and the person you’ve become. As you begin this next chapter at Grand Canyon University, I know you’ll continue to make a difference wherever God leads you. Chase your dreams, stay true to yourself, and never forget how deeply you are loved. Here’s to new adventures, lifelong friendships, and all that’s ahead. GCU, you’re getting a good one. 💜 We love you beyond words. Congratulations, sweet girl 🎓 by @alifewitherin
My Little Bear, I honestly don’t know how this day got here so fast. It feels like yesterday you were small enough to fit in my arms, and now I’m watching you graduate. I am so incredibly proud of you, not just for this accomplishment, but for the person you have become. You are strong, compassionate, resilient, and kind. You have the biggest heart, and watching you care for others, especially children, has been one of my greatest joys. As you begin this next chapter, my heart is both full and aching. I would give anything to relive some of those moments, but I am so grateful to watch you become exactly who you were meant to be. Remember this: You are deeply loved. You are never alone. And there is nothing you could ever do that would make me stop being proud to be your mom. Go chase your dreams. Be fearless. Be kind. Be yourself. The world is so lucky to have you. Congratulations, my sweet girl. 🤍🎓 Love always and forever. by @alifewitherin
