Throughout The Dancers for Cancer Movement Series, our first priority was raising 'gentle awareness' amongst our community.
🙏🏾💪🏽
Just after, was the value offered to our guests, to simply be a part of this journey with us!
🙌🏾
We knew we wanted each event to add more than the last, and so, for the Grand Finale, we gave a whopping total of 23 prizes, some announced and some done privately!
🎉
Believe it or not, we had many more persons interested in giving prizes
😯
We were so humbled by the excitement our 18 dance class winners expressed, having won prizes that will enhance their dance journeys and support their growth!
💃🏻🕺🏾
Our Gold and Silver Circle Winners, along with door prize winners, luckily received a total of 4 Spa Vouchers!

... and of course, we awarded 1 Vehicle and Engine Steam Wash to our MVP @dj_gps_ , without whom, we could not do this series!

As I watched all of you move together, I found myself thinking about how impactful this journey has become.

What began as an idea to bring dance, intention
and community together, in support of cancer awareness, has grown into something so beautiful.
🩵
You've shared your stories with us.
You've spoken about the people you love, the people you’ve lost, and the ways cancer has touched your lives.
🫂
You researched Distal Oesophageal Cancer, and some of you even chose to be screened.
This means more to us than we could ever put into one post!
🥹❤️🫂
So, to every person who’s shared, danced, learned, encouraged, partnered with us, or simply believed in what we were trying to create — thank you.
🙏🏾
Thank you for contributing to awareness, that didn't need to begin in a doctor's office.
Awareness that began on our shared dance floor.

This women-only transformational experience, combines movement, reflection, connection and nature.

@shalomgad_dance offers a guided journey towards healing, and a gentle space created to help women explore, express, and release the emotions they may be carrying.

We first connected with @shalomgad_dance at the beginning of this series and considered her if we were to do a 2nd Bachata Workshop 🙏🏾 We are just as honored to collaborate with her for the Grand Finale!
